Eating regularly is not all we want, eating healthy is important. While going for healthy eating the most important thing to keep in mind is to make sure of what you are eating and, whether your diet is meeting the nutritional requirements of your body or not.
Since birth till death, complete life span of any living being, is a process of growth and development and various functions keeps on taking place within our body. And for proper functioning of our body we need proper nourishment as very specific nutrient has its role in the development of our body.
Healthy food guide will help you to analyze you diet and its nutritional requirements.
First of all you need to be well aware of types of nutrients. There are six types of nutrients responsible for the development.
Calories: - calories provide energy, but too much calories lead you nowhere other then gaining useless weight. You need to switch to low calorie diet as complete stoppage of calorie intake will be hazardous to your health. Lo calorie diet includes low fat milk and dairy products, lean meat, fishes and poultry with added calories. You can monitor the amount of calorie you are taking by regulating the method of preparation as you can avoid too much of added calories and also by regulating the portion size of you meal intake.
Proteins: - protein helps in the development of the body. It is very important for the formation of tissues. They contain a great amount of amino acids that are essential for our body. Essential amino acids are those amino acids that are not synthesized inside our body and are taken from outside as apart of our diet. If they are not taken in the diet results in poor development of our body. Animal meat, eggs, fishes and poultry provides huge amount of essential amino acids. These amino acids are not present in the cereals hence proteins from cereals cannot alone support the development. However dries beans etc have these amino acids and can supplement animal protein.
Fats: - fats are the store house of energy in the body. When we eat fats, they burn inside the body and act as fuel to keep you working. They also help in development of nervous tissues. Some fat is also deposited in the body so that it can be used in future when needed. If the fat metabolism fails in our body then this fat is deposited in the cells and causes obesity and other problems like atherosclerosis, arteriosclerosis, hypertension etc.
Minerals: - different minerals have different role in our body. Minerals are important for the development of bones, teeth, the help in normal functioning of heart by maintaining the heart rhythm and muscle contractibility, they regulate the acid-base balance of the body and accelerates normal neural conduction. They facilitate cellular metabolism and are an essential part of hormones and enzymes. The intake of minerals should be regulated. They are not produced inside the body and excessive intake can exhibit toxic effects.
Vitamins: - vitamins are not synthesized inside our body and are taken from outside. They are important and vital in almost all the functions of our body. Be it immune system, hormonal or nervous system vitamins plays important functions in all the processes of our body.
Keeping in mind, healthy food guide, if a diet is planned, it will surely provide you a healthy life.

But u will never always be a teenager. ur metabolism will become slower and the food wont burn as quick and u'll get fat. If u eat healthy now, you will build up ur body. and all that cake isnt good either. i dont think u have to worry about blood pressure or heart dieases right now since u do exercise but what about diabetes? Chips arent that bad but they can ruin ur kidneys if u eat too much of them because of the oil they use. As for McDonalds and other fast food, those are not bad if u eat thrm once in a while...but if u eat them everday...well, they made this documentary about this really healthy guy who exercised everyday and then ate McDonalds everyday for about a month to see what would happen...he had kidney diesases, heart diesaese, etc. and why is diabetes or kidney dieseases so bad? blindness, amputation, pain, immobility, etc. You are of course, free to eat whatever u want but u should put some vegetables and fruits in ur diet. u dont have to eat the ones u dont like...just eat some of the ones u like. u dont have to eat 5 a day or anything...just eat some. and no i dont follow the fruit pyramid. personally i find the food pyramid unhelpful. Just eat some of everything, not too much, not too little.
@jameswx09 I hope !!!

early June our school trip to Moscow followed. luckily last-minute they could change our train routing via Belarus/ Minsk
I wonder how my thyroid will be doing one day; thank you Soviet communists.. also thanks for taking great (NOT!!) care of your own citizens when/ after this happened.. never ever lets hope.. lesson learned??
I bet the next nuclear accident will be in the USA we have thousands of them.
Yes thin people think it's easy to loose weight. But it isn't.
There are some many ways but you have to find what will work for you! It's NOT just eating healthy food; you can only eat what you can burn off with exercise. So if you don't do any exercise you must eat much less!
I use to work in a heavy manual job 12hours a day. I could eat every thing and not put on any weight. Now I sit in an office all day. Exercise for me is walking around to building or to the far end of the car park. My stomach still wants the same amount of food so I have to be very care full of how much I eat.
So any chance I have to work up a sweat doing some real work I do. Walk or use my bike any time I can instead of using my car. I have a push grass cutter not electric or petrol.
But no amount of exercise will help if you start eating more. Xmas is a bad time so much nice food around
)
Also don't buy snacks, you will just eat them, if you need eat some thing get some fruit "Apples orange bannana"
I start picking on breakfast type bran flakes. they were quit nice eating them like crisps,
i was anorexic for 7 years and i had to go throu 2 years of therapy before i even started thinking about changing... its a mental deal ur parents cant make u want to get better or eat u have to want it urself. i understand what u r going throu but dont give up.
Some "independent" investigator you probably were.
yes
Helena, Montana, the state capitol of Montana, is an excellent site for your consideration.
We are known as the best small town for the arts in America. We support music, dance, and all kinds of art. Every summer a free outdoor concert is performed by the Helena Symphony and attended by many thousands. In the summer Dixieland jazz groups come for our jazzfest. There are also several other music fests of different kinds of music. Every Wed evening there are music and performances in our downtown park.
We also have a world --reknown place for pottery here which is the Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts. In August the best of Western artists come to exhibt and demonstrate their works.
Historically Helena was formed around Last Chance Gulch a downtown street where miners tried their luck. Little over a century ago more millionaires lived here than anywhere due to the richness of the minerals such as gold, silver and semi-precious stones. Today one can see the mansions of the ultrarich who lived there (and in some cases still do). We have an excellent museum of state history which portrays our history.
Helena is set within mountains and right up against Mt Helena. Many people here hike up it everyday just to stay fit and for the view. There are several lakes around Helena. Fly-fishing is within minutes and in season, many opportunities for hunting and wildlife viewing.
Every weekend in the summer there is an excellent downtown Farmers' Market. Much of the produce offerred is organic. There are quitea few great restaurants in the downtown area and close by. There is also a fun wine bar(Sommeliers Wine Bar, 361 No Last Chance Gulch, Helena, MT 59601 ( 406) 442 -3685) downtown where you can keep your own glass for the wine of your preference under lock and key!
Helena is very health oriented. The Real Food Store is our version of the Whole Foods Market.
Montana's only marathon (The Governor's Cup) takes place in June starting at Marysville, MT and ending up in downtown Helena. There is also a huge run-walk event in the summer to raise money for breast cancer research which is attended by thousands.
I have lived in many states and countries due to my husband's Air Force career. The really remarkable thing about Helena is its sense of community and support of local causes. There are quite a few facilities here for various types of persons. Throughout the year the local citizens put on and support numerous fun events to benefit Food Share, Florence Crittenon Home (for unwed teenage mothers), Shodair (a psychiatric hospital for young people and the Rocky Mountain Childrens' Home (for children needs extra psychiaric care taken from abusive homes).
From outdoor recreational opportunities to healthy eatings to support of the arts and worthwhile causes Helena, Montana is pretty amazing.
I hope you will come see for yourself!
Did you really type all that out.
the Soviets did NOT tell the world what happened.. I guess I had my dose of radioactivity.. the first alarm arrived a few days later from Scandinavia.. they measured high radioactivity.. the whole north-western/ central/ eastern Europe got exposed to it, while the Soviet officials decided they would NOT warn the international community..
to be continued... it does not fit all in one hit
lol the girl at the end is so funny! xD
cereal might contains some trans fat and sugar. but so far you are eating healthy.
